PRELUDE A/W 2007-2008

23 januari 2007 - By DFF

On Tuesday the 23rd of January 2007 the Dutch Fashion Foundation (DFF) and Mercedes-Benz proudly presented the second edition of the exclusive fashion salon ‘Prelude’ at Felix Meritis in the centre of Amsterdam, this time completed with a dynamic programme throughout the evening. Together with main partner Mercedes-Benz, DFF underlined its quality mark in fashion by presenting the new autumn/winter 2007/2008 collections of fashion designers Angelos Bratis, Mada van Gaans and Joline Jolink with their own individual catwalk shows. During the interludes between the shows, the guests were offered the opportunity to enjoy cocktails and music made possible and hosted by the partners that share DFF’s belief in the potential of the designers and in the value that fashion has for business objectives and cultural representation.

The ‘Prelude’ fashion salons are a fashion incubator platform consisting of an overall assistence and the possibilty for a designer to participate in the fashion salons for four fashion seasons. Through this platform designers receive the opportunity to present their collections to the network of the Dutch Fashion Foundation, consisting of press, companies, and fashion and creative professionals. The ‘Prelude’ fashion salons were held twice a year on the eve of the Amsterdam Fashion Week.
