PRELUDE S/S 2007

25 juli 2006 - By DFF

On July 25th 2006 the Dutch Fashion Foundation and Mercedes-Benz presented the first edition of the exclusive fashion salon ‘Prelude’ on the eve of the Amsterdam International Fashion Week at L43 in the heart of Amsterdam, creating a platform for fashion designers Angelos Bratis, Corné Gabriëls, Joline Jolink and Mada van Gaans to present their new Spring/Summer 2007 collections. This salon was the first collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and the Dutch Fashion Foundation in a series of stimulating and inspiring fashion events where the allure, quality and pioneering values of both brands meet.

The ‘Prelude’ fashion salons are a fashion incubator platform consisting of an overall assistance and the possibility for a designer to participate in the fashion salons for four fashion seasons. Through this platform designers receive the opportunity to present their collections to the network of the Dutch Fashion Foundation, consisting of press, companies, and fashion and creative professionals. The ‘Prelude’ fashion salons were held twice a year on the eve of the Amsterdam Fashion Week.
