Mada van Gaans’ designs are sensual, fluid, feminine, strong, detailed and they often contain a playful note. Traditional craftsmanship is important to her, and she finds it a challenge to translate these techniques into new designs.
For her collection S/S 2007 Mada is inspired by the paintings of Vittorio Roerade
and the women that come to life in Mucha’s art work, Mada van Gaans will take you by the hand and lead you through a magical secret garden. A garden filled with all the beautiful aspects of nature... Bright coloured flowers in all their shapes and sizes surround you while you wonder around and discover precious birds flying along an intense blue sky. You’ll enjoy the delicate details of all the plants you’ll discover on your way to a new fashion era.
Soft Art Nouveau influences decorate the secret garden and its ivy covered walls. A collection supported by special highlights such as the exclusive Need You by Mada van Gaans collection and Mada’s excellent style choice in watches: the launch of the Longines Belle Arti.
